Harris Teeter Neighborhood Food and Pharmacy is the anchor retailer at McHenry Row. The Harris Teeter at McHenry Row is the second largest in their chain of over 200 stores, headquartered in North Carolina. McHenry Row was their first Baltimore City location, followed in 2013 with their second store at The Shops at Canton Crossing.

The company places a strong emphasis on fresh foods, prepared items-to-go and convenient in-store services.  Architecturally, the store design offers large windows, skylights, an atrium, stone elevator, two levels and stainless steel fixtures.  For customers’ convenience there is a 50-seat café, pharmacy, Starbucks café and adjacent beer and wine shop.

This USGBC LEED Silver certified store features recycling centers in the lobby and boasts additional energy and environmental design components including freezer cases designed with LED lighting and water-saving devices.  Additional green features include electric vehicle charging stations and an integrated refrigeration and HVAC system that utilizes highly efficient condensing and water source heat pump technology.
