The BANNER Building represents the conversion of the former Phillips Seafood production facility into approximately 170,000 square feet of Class A office space. While successfully preserving the historic character of the building, 28 Walker gave it a modern edge with the addition of two new floors of wall-to-wall glass. The newly converted office space offers expansive glass, highly efficient building systems and easy access to I-95. The office conversion represents the first phase of the McHenry Row expansion project, followed by the brand-new Porter St. Apartments building, a LEED Silver certified 5-story office building and a Courtyard by Marriott hotel.
Public spaces consist of a pedestrian-oriented motor court centered around two beautifully designed storm water management facilities, a shared outdoor plaza for the office/apartment buildings and brewery with outdoor seating.
