170,000 Sq. Ft.
Class A Office Space
The BANNER Building represents the conversion of the former Phillips Seafood production facility into approximately 170,000 square feet of Class A office space. While successfully preserving the historic character of the building, 28 Walker gave it a modern edge with the addition of two new floors of wall-to-wall glass. The newly converted office space offers expansive glass, highly efficient building systems and easy access to I-95. The project includes tenants such as Maryland Auto Insurance (MAI), MindGrub, Shapiro and Kiddie Academy Daycare. The office conversion represents the first phase of the McHenry Row expansion project, followed by the brand-new Porter St. Apartments building, a LEED Silver certified 5-story office building and a Courtyard by Marriott hotel.
Public spaces consist of a pedestrian-oriented motor court centered around two beautifully designed storm water management facilities, a shared outdoor plaza for the office/apartment buildings and brewery with outdoor seating.
